Be Safe Technologies: Children as Equal Partners in Social Care Tech

She delivers a stirring TEDx talk on her experience of working with children with lived experience as equal partners, to develop and lead the first Children's Safeguarding Digital Cooperative Design Centre i the field of Social Care. Sarah shares unique insights from her research, driven by her passion for safeguarding children and harnessing tech for social good
Children themselves rarely engage directly with protective services unless they are referred into the child protection system by a third-party adult. Technologies have enabled children to communicate in new ways as children today become digital natives.
While all of us dream of a better world, some of us are busy making it a better and safer place to live in; Sarah Carlick is one of them.
